Peshtigo Veterinary Clinic provides a full range of routine surgical services to more complex procedures. We know that your pet is a member of the family, we strive to provide the same care for them as you would expect for yourself. We offer pre-anesthetic blood monitoring and post operative laser therapy as part of our surgical care. Our goal is to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable before, during, and after their procedure. While anesthesia does not come without risks, we do our best to minimize those risks by catering our anesthetic protocol to each individual patient and providing the most up to date surgical practices and care procedures. All of our surgeries have a dedicated veterinary technician monitoring and caring for them throughout the procedure. As safety is our priority, we will not perform surgery on sick patients or those we have not performed a thorough pre-surgical examination on. 

We also employ a cutting-edge surgical laser in certain procedures. Laser surgery reduces bleeding risk (seals blood vessels), pain at the surgery site (seals nerve endings) and allows for a faster recovery. It is especially beneficial in delicate areas and is often used declaws, perianal tumor removal, and certain eye surgeries.
